Our Physicians
Why This Page Reads Like an Overview, Not a Directory
A patient considering a Compassionate Use Program evaluation deserves to know what credential standard the physicians on this network meet, before they see a list of names. This page describes the standard. The named roster appears once each physician has signed off on the bio that represents them.
The Credential Standard
Every physician affiliated with 420 Texas Doctors meets the following baseline:
- Active Texas Medical Board licensure with no current disciplinary action
- Registered with the Texas Compassionate Use Registry (CURT) maintained by the Texas Department of Public Safety
- Board certification in their primary specialty
- A minimum threshold of years in clinical practice — senior-physician model, not entry-level
Clinical Specialties Represented
The conditions covered by the Texas Compassionate Use Program span several specialties. The physicians on this network represent a mix that reflects that breadth:
- Neurology (epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, neurodegenerative disease)
- Oncology (cancer pain, chemotherapy-induced symptoms)
- Psychiatry (PTSD)
- Pain medicine (intractable pain associated with CUP-qualifying conditions)
- Pediatric subspecialties for the pediatric epilepsy population
Patient Outcomes We Track
Outcome reporting on a YMYL medical surface requires care. We track:
- Successful CURT enrollment rates among patients who complete an evaluation
- Patient-reported symptom improvement at 90-day follow-up (where the patient consents to follow-up contact)
- Physician-reported clinical impressions of program effectiveness for specific qualifying conditions
We do not publish patient testimonials with photos. We do not publish aggregate “success rates” without methodology. Outcome content appears only with full methodology disclosed.
How a Physician Joins This Network
Physicians interested in being listed on 420 Texas Doctors complete a four-step process:
- Credential verification against TMB and CURT registries
- Editorial interview with the network coordinator
- Bio draft and physician review
- Patient-facing publication only after written physician consent
When You Will See a Roster Here
The roster appears on this page when the first two CURT-registered physicians have completed the four-step join process and signed publication consent. Until then, this overview describes the standard the roster will meet.
